Terms & Conditions

Once Upon a Dance – Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payments

  • All classes must be booked in advance via our booking system.
  • Payments are required prior to the start of the term or at the time of booking for drop-in sessions (if available).
  • Your booking secures your child’s place for the selected session or term. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Fees are non-refundable except in cases of class cancellation by Once Upon a Dance.
  • If your child is unable to attend a class, unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund or credit.
  • In the rare event of a class being cancelled by us (e.g. illness, venue issue), a replacement class or credit will be offered.

3.Missed Classes

  • We do not offer refunds or make-up classes for non-attendance.
  • However, where possible, we may offer an alternative date if space allows — please speak to us directly.

4. Health & Safety

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs prior to the class.
  • All dancers must wear appropriate clothing (e.g. ballet/dancewear) and hair should be tied back securely.
  • Please ensure your child has used the toilet before class, and arrives with a labelled water bottle.

5. Parental Supervision

  • As these are sessions for young children, a parent or carer must remain on site during the class.
  • We ask for kind encouragement and minimal distractions during the session to help create a magical, focused space for our little dancers.

6. Photography & Social Media

  • Occasionally, photos/videos may be taken for marketing or social media use. Consent will be requested via the registration form.
  • If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please let us know in writing.

7. Behaviour Policy

  • Once Upon a Dance is a kind, inclusive and joyful space. We kindly ask for respectful behaviour from both children and grown-ups.
  • Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may lead to a child being temporarily withdrawn from class until concerns are addressed.

8. Communication

  • All updates (term dates, events, closures etc.) will be shared via email, social media and/or text.
  • Please make sure we have up-to-date contact details.
